Makita Leaf Blower – This leaf blower will Blow Away the Competition!
Whether you are an individual property owner or a commercial property caretaker, you want to have the very best tools. The Makita Leaf Blower answers the call every time!
One VERY satisfied Makita leaf blower buyer had this comment:
I brought the unit home, checked the oil level, installed the blower tube. After priming the carburetor with about 4 strokes, and setting the choke…the blower started on the second pull. I have not needed a second pull since.

About Makita’s 4-Stroke Engines
Makita’s 4-Stroke engines have been designed to the most demanding global standards for efficiency, noise level and emissions. Engineered for better fuel efficiency and cleaner emissions, they do not require fuel mix and have greatly reduced emissions over traditional 2-stroke engines. Makita’s commercial 4-Stroke engines are easy to start, run quieter while maintaining power and performance.
It’s true that the majority of today’s gas powered leaf blowers are powered by two cycle engines. However, 4 cycle blowers are becoming more popular because of their reliability and “green” attributes. They use far less gas and emit far less air pollutants.
A Makita leaf blower is an excellent choice for your home or commercial property.
Reviews:
1. “Assembling the blower was very easy and it starts right up!! The blower is very light and quiet!!!It’s nice not to have to worry about mixing the gas and oil! It only blows 145 MPH and it cleaned my driveway and garage. It would have been nicer if the blower was 200 MPH for the amount that you are spending–bigger better. My other complaint is that they don’t give you a flat nozzle and you have to buy it extra as an accessory. Also, make sure you buy oil(a bottle is NOT included in the manufactor’s box) for the blower because they only added little for you to get started.”
2. “…This unit is quiet, smooth, idles nicely and barely uses any gas. My other blower caused me to need earplugs, plus the smell of the exhaust got in my clothes, hair, and skin. This unit is very clean…it leaves no oil residue on the case after a lengthy run…none at all. The two stroke unit gets really gunky.”
In general, 4 cycle leaf blowers have fairly good buyer satisfaction. Here is a link to other 4 Cycle Leaf Blowers.
Help keep the air safe to breathe by using a 4 cycle leaf blower (or a non-gas leaf blower).

One Comment
From a landscaper…Used Makita 4 cycle blowers and they do not hold up near as well as 2 cycle shindawia or redmax blowers.Sure they have less fumes and the blower looks god with that makita name on it. But after a few months its dead .Taking it to be fixed is not just a chore and hassle but a futile excercise in watching the mechanic at a makita aurthorized tool shop not fix it properly. There parts network is nonexistant. You cant and I mean CANT get parts for this unit anywhere.Always backordered and than your part order is canceled.
If you use this thing more than a few hours a week or hope it lasts multiple years than your really not going to be happy here with this flawed, rushed to market product.
